Solutions for Pharmacies & Drugstores
Pharmacy Remodel and Store Rollout Software
A pharmacy chain can close hundreds of stores in a year and still be remodeling the ones it keeps, with a few more moving to better corners. RolloutIQ™ runs each of those projects on a schedule your team shares, with the board of pharmacy inspection each opening waits on.

The Challenge
Where pharmacy buildouts and remodels get hard
Board of Pharmacy Inspection Before Opening
Many state boards inspect a new or relocated pharmacy before it can fill a prescription. Virginia won't let drugs be stocked in the new space until its inspector approves it and asks for 14 days' notice to schedule the visit, and Missouri keeps a relocated pharmacy closed at its new address until the board signs off.
Moving a DEA Registration
DEA registers each pharmacy location separately, and a move needs a written request to change the address on the registration. Schedule II through V drugs go in a securely locked, substantially constructed cabinet or get dispersed through the regular stock, which the pharmacy layout has to plan for.
Drive-Thru Stacking Lanes
A drive-thru means a stacking lane the city will want a traffic review on, plus a window or tube package that comes from its own vendor. On a relocation, a site plan change for the lane can go back through zoning while the building work waits on it.
Remodels in Stores That Stay Open
Counter and consultation-room remodels usually happen while the front store keeps trading and prescriptions keep going out. In Virginia, a remodel that changes the structure of an existing prescription department needs its own application to the board, which a front-of-store refresh alone does not.
Platform Features
How pharmacy chains run store rollouts in RolloutIQ™
Every store in the fleet and every project on it lives in one place, starting with stores still in the new-store pipeline.
The Whole Fleet on One Map
Every store sits on a map or in a table with its lifecycle status, filtered by brand, region, or market. A planned store can enter the pipeline before the lease is signed, and cancelling it takes it out of the pipeline count.
Start Every Program From a Template
Build one schedule template for a new store and others for a counter remodel, a relocation, or a closure. The board inspection and the DEA address change land on each project as dated deliverables with an owner.
Opening Tied to the Inspection
Make the planned opening depend on the board inspection. If the inspector's date moves, the opening recalculates and the project shows how far it has slipped from the target.
Keep Permit Numbers on the Store Record
Custom fields hold the state pharmacy permit number or the DEA registration renewal date on each store. Everyone who can see the store sees them, and the team can filter and export the portfolio by them.
Internal Albums for Secure Areas
Progress photos of the controlled-substance storage and alarm work can go in an internal album that only people at your company open. Contractors upload to project-wide albums and can't see the internal ones.
GCs See Only Their Stores
Assign a general contractor to the stores it is remodeling, and everyone at that firm inherits access to those projects without seeing the rest of the fleet.
Single Source of Truth
One source of truth for your Pharmacies & Drugstores portfolio
As your Pharmacies & Drugstores footprint grows across sites, the same store ends up spread across separate spreadsheets and point tools, and the numbers drift apart. RolloutIQ™ keeps one durable record per store from the first deal through opening day, so your Pharmacies & Drugstores rollout runs on one set of numbers every team can trust across the whole multi-site portfolio.

FAQ
Common questions
Many pharmacy chains still run remodels, relocations, and new stores out of spreadsheets and a general construction tool. In RolloutIQ™ each pharmacy has a store record, and every remodel or move on it starts from a templated schedule where the board of pharmacy inspection sits on the critical path to the opening date. Dispensing and pharmacy operations stay in the systems you already run, and RolloutIQ manages the construction program.
Yes. Each pharmacy project's schedule carries the board of pharmacy inspection as a deliverable with an owner and a date, and the planned opening can depend on it, so a late inspection moves the opening on screen. Your team still files the application and deals with the board; RolloutIQ™ tracks the step so the inspection request goes in early enough.
Under 21 CFR 1301.12 the DEA requires a separate registration for each place of business, and 21 CFR 1301.51 handles a change of address through a written request to modify the registration. RolloutIQ™ puts that address change on the relocation's schedule as a deliverable and can hold the registration number or renewal date as a custom field on the store. The filing itself and controlled-substance inventory stay with your pharmacy team.
Each pharmacy remodel runs as its own project on the store while it keeps trading, started from a remodel template with its phases and dependencies, and punch list walks assign each defect to the contractor who owns it. RolloutIQ™ schedules run in calendar days and do not model crew shifts or working hours, so after-hours phasing goes in as deliverables and notes on the project.
A clinic added inside an existing pharmacy can run in RolloutIQ™ as its own project on that store, with its own schedule, budget, and team, next to any remodel happening in the same building. RolloutIQ tracks the construction and the approvals the opening depends on, and the clinic operator keeps clinical licensing and staffing, along with its patient systems.
