Our story
Built by someone who spent 20 years opening stores
RolloutIQ™ comes out of two decades in retail development, and the internal tools its founder kept building because nothing on the market did the job.
From the founder
The platform I spent 20 years wishing I had
“If your team can't trust the open date, they stop trusting everything else the development team tells them.”

Nariman Shariat
Founder
- Gap
- Built the CPM Toolbox, the internal platform that ran store development across the fleet.
- Apple
- Supported scaling global retail development as the fleet grew toward 500 stores.
- WeWork
- Supported global real estate and development through its expansion from 50 to 500 locations.
I have spent about 20 years opening stores. Gap, then Apple, then WeWork, and in each of them I sat in the same seat, the one in the middle, between the landlord and the architect and the brokers and the general contractor, with as many internal teams pulling from the other side, everyone working toward an opening date the whole company was counting on.
That date decides everything downstream. Merchandising plans around it, the recruiters staff to it, and marketing has usually booked the opening before the walls are even up. When it slips, the extra week of rent is the smallest part of the bill. What actually gets expensive is trust. Once the people downstream stop believing your open date, they quietly stop trusting the rest of your numbers, and you end up managing a credibility problem on top of a construction problem.
At Gap I ended up building an internal platform we called the CPM Toolbox, mostly because the tool I wanted did not exist yet. It pulled a whole project into one place, the schedule and the change orders and the RFIs and the team all in the same view. There was nothing clever about it. It put the same information in front of everyone at once, and that turned out to be enough to change how the fleet got built. I spent the years after that rebuilding the same idea, in one form or another, at company after company.
The thing underneath all of it was visibility. When a partner can see a project is slipping, they can help you catch it while catching it is still cheap. Let the problem sit and it comes back later as money. Overtime, overnight freight, an expediter nobody planned for, whatever it takes to protect the date. Most of what I have watched teams spend was really the price of finding out too late.
That work left me wary of process for its own sake. A step that made sense 10 years ago is not automatically the right step now, and I have watched good teams keep doing things out of habit long after the reason was gone. Software has no business lecturing an experienced construction manager on how to do the job. Hand over what they need to make the call, then get out of the way.
RolloutIQ is what I wanted for two decades and kept having to build by hand. One place that holds every project and every date, so the people who actually build stores can spend their hours building instead of chasing down status. A store is where a brand meets its customer in the real world. Getting it open, and getting it open on time, is worth doing right.
Our Mission
To give every retail construction team a single, intelligent platform that eliminates the chaos of multi-site project management and lets them focus on what they do best: building.
Our Values
What Drives Us
These principles guide every decision we make and every feature we build.
Purpose-Built
We don't build generic tools. Every feature is designed specifically for the challenges of retail rollout management.
Speed Matters
In retail construction, every day counts. We build tools that accelerate delivery and eliminate bottlenecks.
Customer Obsessed
Our customers' success is our success. We listen closely and keep iterating on what they tell us.
Intelligence First
We believe AI should back up the people doing the work. People build stores, and RolloutIQ™ surfaces where their attention is needed so they spend more time on the work that matters.
Trust & Transparency
We earn trust through transparent pricing, honest communication, and rock-solid data security.
Continuous Innovation
The retail construction industry keeps changing, and we ship improvements every week based on customer needs.
