Solutions for Beauty & Salons
Salon Buildout and Beauty Rollout Software
Every new salon needs its own establishment license from the state board, and the plumbing and exhaust behind the service floor have to pass inspection before the first appointment. RolloutIQ™ keeps each buildout and its opening date on one schedule the brand and its franchisees can share.

The Challenge
Where salon and spa buildouts get hard
An Establishment License for Every Location
State cosmetology boards license the salon itself, separately from the stylists who work there. Florida won't let a salon operate without one and moves a license to a new address only with the department's approval, so a relocation carries a licensing step of its own.
Shampoo Bowls and Hot Water
A row of shampoo bowls and pedicure chairs puts a heavy draw on the water heater and the drain lines. Heater sizing and drain locations get settled early in design, because a miss shows up later as cold rinses after opening or a slab cut mid-construction.
Exhaust at Nail Stations
Where a jurisdiction has adopted the International Mechanical Code, each manicure and pedicure station needs source-capture exhaust of at least 50 cfm. Duct runs and roof penetrations need the landlord's approval, so get it before the permit set goes out.
Medical Oversight in Med Spas
Injectables and lasers move a spa into medical territory. In California, the Medical Board says those treatments must be done by a physician, or by a nurse or physician assistant under a physician's supervision, and other states set their own rules, which puts the treatment rooms and the supervising provider into the opening plan.
Platform Features
Salon rollout software for every format you run
Hair salons, suites, spas, and beauty stores with a salon inside all run from the same store records and schedule templates in RolloutIQ™.
Every Salon in One Portfolio
Every location shows up on the map or in a table with its status, whether it is a salon, a spa, or a store with a salon inside. Locations carry a brand and a region, so a group running a hair brand next to a wax or nail concept can look at one brand or all of them.
A Template per Format
A full salon, a suite build, a med spa, and a store remodel that adds a salon can each have their own schedule template. Pick a start date and the template lays out every deliverable with its dependencies and an owner.
Suites Inside One Building
A salon suite location can carry each studio as its own space, with a type and square footage, and a project started on a suite stays tied to that suite through every later refresh.
License and Inspection Milestones
The establishment license and the final building inspections each get a dated deliverable and a named owner. When the opening depends on the license, a board that takes longer than planned moves the opening date with it.
Photos From Every Site
General contractors upload progress photos and walkthrough videos to each project's albums, and your team comments on the exact photo of a shampoo-bowl rough-in that needs a second look.
For franchise groups
For salon and spa franchise groups
Much of salon growth runs through franchisees, and a single franchisee often builds for more than one brand. RolloutIQ™ keeps those brands in one workspace, with the franchisor's reviews written into every schedule.
Franchisor reviews as milestones
Put the franchisor's plan review and pre-opening walk into each format's template, with an owner on both.
Development deadlines
A custom field holds each committed location's development deadline, and Portfolio Explorer shows it next to the planned opening.
Brand on every location
Tag each location with its brand, and lists and reports narrow to one concept or show the whole group.
Single Source of Truth
One source of truth for your Beauty & Salons portfolio
As your Beauty & Salons footprint grows across sites, the same store ends up spread across separate spreadsheets and point tools, and the numbers drift apart. RolloutIQ™ keeps one durable record per store from the first deal through opening day, so your Beauty & Salons rollout runs on one set of numbers every team can trust across the whole multi-site portfolio.

FAQ
Common questions
Salon brands often track buildouts in spreadsheets and email, or in whatever tools a franchisee brings. RolloutIQ™ gives a multi-site program one store record per salon, with every buildout or remodel started from a format template and the cosmetology license and inspections on the same schedule as the opening date. Your booking and point-of-sale systems stay in place, and so does payroll.
Yes. RolloutIQ™ puts the establishment license on each salon project's schedule with an owner and a date, and the opening can depend on it, while the application itself still goes to the state board from your team. Moves need the same milestone: under Florida Statutes section 477.025, a salon license moves to a new location only with the department's approval.
A salon suite building can be one location in RolloutIQ™ with each studio recorded as its own space, carrying a type and square footage. Each suite's build-out runs as a project on that space, and later refreshes attach to the same suite. RolloutIQ manages the build and the space records, and suite leasing and rent collection, along with each tenant's own license, are handled outside it.
RolloutIQ™ manages a med spa buildout the way it manages any location: a templated schedule, dated approvals with owners, photo albums, and punch list walks with the contractor. It leaves the medical questions alone, since each state sets which treatments need oversight and who may supervise them, and the med spa's own medical and legal advisers own those rules.
A franchisee with salon, wax, and spa brands can run them all from one RolloutIQ™ workspace, tagging each location with its brand. The franchisor's plan review and pre-opening walk go into every format's template, and development deadlines sit in a custom field you can compare against planned openings in Portfolio Explorer.
